Using a potentiometer

Now we have a blinking LED we can remake the circuit to incorporate a potentiometer to change the blink speed of the LED.

Key objectives:

In this project, you will:

•Change the blinking speed of the LED

•Document what happens

1. Explore phase

Someone needs a LED with a variable blink rate to show how bad something is. The person wants to use a potentiometer to change the blink rate.

2. Create Phase

Wire the circuit using a Breadboard, Arduino, an LED, a 330Ω Resistor, some jumper wires and a potentiometer

Once you have the circuit made open up the Arduino coding software and create the following code.

3. Share phase

Document how the LED reacts as you move the potentiometer.
