Carbon Snake

A chemical reaction is when one or two objects change into another object

Materials: Bowl, 4 tsp of powdered sugar, 1 tsp of baking soda, Pie tin, Sand, Lighter fluid, and Lighter 

Procedure: 

  1. In your bowl combine the powdered sugar and the baking soda
  2. Put sand in the pie tin
  3. Create a small mound in the middle of the sand
  4. Use your knuckle to make an indent in the middle of the mound
  5. Pour lighter fluid in the mound and the indentation
  6. Pour the baking soda mixture into the middle of the mound
