Solar Oven

Solar energy is the energy from the sun

Materials: Pizza box, 2 clear sheet protectors, Black construction paper, Tape (Clear and duct), Blade, Thermometer, BBQ Skewer, Glue, Tin foil, Ruler, and pen

Procedure:

  1. Measure 2 inches from each side of the box and mark with a pen
  2. Cut out 3 sides of the square to create a flap
  3. Measure and cut the tin foil to the size of the bottom of the pizza box and the flap
  4. Now apply glue to the bottom of the pizza box and the flap
  5. Lay the tin foil to the bottom, and the flap and make it smooth
  6. Cut the black construction paper so it is smaller than the bottom of the pizza box
  7. Center the black paper on the foil bottom of the box
  8. Tape it to the foil with clear tape
  9. Separate the sheet protectors so it is a one layer of plastic
  10. Tape them as tight as possible inside the box
  11. Poke small holes about 2 inches apart in the side of the box
  12. Wrap a piece of tape around the skewer
  13. Tape it to the side of the box to create a kickstands
