Static Electricity

Static electricity is the electricity that is present on top of the material

Materials: Balloon, bits of paper and your hair

Procedure:

1. Get a Balloon and inflate it
2. Rub the balloon at your hair rapidly
3. Try sticking the balloon to the wall and it should stay there
4. Put it a little above your hair and it should try to pull it
5. Get bits of paper and take your balloon close to it and they should stick to it without you touching it

In this experiment kids will learn about static electricity and what it can do
