Tornado in a Bottle

Centripetal force happens when an object is going in a circular motion

Materials: Empty bottle, Glitter, Funnel, and Water

Procedure:

1. Using the funnel put glitter in the bottle
2. Fill the jar with ¾ of water
3. Put the lid on the bottle and make it tight
4. Put the bottle upside down and move it in circular motion for at least 10 seconds

Kids will learn about centripetal force
