Using an Ultrasonic Sensor

Now that we know how sonar works new we can made a kind of circuit that can read range.

Key Objectives

In this project, you will:

• Create a circuit that can detect range between itself and an object

• Document how well the circuit works

1. Explore phase

Someone wants to make a circuit that can detect things within 20 meters of it

2. Create phase

Create the following circuit using an Arduino and Breadboard, One Ultrasonic Sensor, 2 LEDS (Red and Green) and 2 330 ohm resistors.

Once the circuit is made create a code to read range between an object and the sensor

3. Share phase

Document how well the range reader works on various items
